Description: A Neonatology Specialist, also known as a Neonatologist, is a highly trained pediatrician who provides specialized medical care to newborn infants, particularly those born prematurely, with low birth weight, or experiencing critical medical conditions, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and management within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), while also offering emotional support and education to families throughout the infants care journey.

Requirements: A Masters degree in Nursing or a related field, with specialization in Neonatal Care highly preferred.Registered Nurse (RN) with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification from a recognized body.A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).National certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Proficient in using advanced neonatal monitoring equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus for diverse patient interactions.Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with families and healthcare teams.Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex medical data and making informed decisions.
