- We are looking to hire a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to provide health care services and promote wellness for students in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a variety of student health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses among students during school hours.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate health records and document all nursing care provided.
Develop and implement health education programs for students, staff, and parents.
Monitor and manage chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
Conduct health screenings and referrals to healthcare professionals when needed.
Ensure compliance with school health policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality laws.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or coordinate further medical care.
