Leading the pharmacy administration team: Training staff, evaluating performance, and making hiring and firing decisions
Maintaining inventory: Ensuring there is an adequate drug supply
Managing the budget: Overseeing the pharmacys budget
Coordinating with other departments: Working with the nursing service and medical staff
Inspecting nursing units: Checking for outdated medication
Serving on committees: Participating in the pharmacy and therapeutic committees, as well as the infection control committee
